Setup

Shuffle first contact cards and place 1 on each system, face down
Ready culture supply (Bags 1-14)
Shuffle the following decks:
- Encounter
  - Solo: remove Title & Intel cards
- Reward
- Mission
Ready asteroid tokens (blue dot & pirate), cargo holds, warp drives, telegates & fame/infamy tokens
Shuffle passengers and place face-down (or leave in bag)
Select a start player randomly
Each player:
- Takes player dashboard and markers
  - Choose either shield or laser to be at level 2 and set the other to level 1
- Choose a level 1 pilot (random if needs be)
- Deal 1 face-up mission and place mission token on destination
- Credits: # of players * c20
  - 3rd player adds c20
  - 4th player adds c40
Place round marker on round 1
Draw 1 passenger randomly and place by starting location (in culture supply)
Players ships start at Galactic Base

Sell merchant spaceports for c200
Add fame:
- fame tokens
- reward cards
- completed missions
- dashboard upgrades
- ship upgrades (cargo is cumulative)
- fuzzy dice
- Minus infamy
Credits = Total fame * 10
- If you have fuzzy dice and rolled doubles, credits = Total fame * 20
