Discworld: Ankh-Morpork

Setup

  • Shuffle random event cards
  • Place 1 trouble marker on The Shades, The Scours & Dolly Sisters
  • Separate the player cards into green and brown bordered decks
    • Shuffle brown deck and place it by the board, face down
    • Shuffle green deck and place it on top of the brown deck
  • Each player:
    • takes 12 minion pieces
    • takes 6 building pieces
    • places 1 of their minions on The Shades, The Scours & Dolly Sisters
    • 10 Ankh-Morpork dollars
    • 1 personality card (keep secret)
    • 5 player cards

2 player notes

  • Remove Chrysoprase card from personality deck
  • Remove Hubert and Cosmos Lavish cards from the brown deck

Game Turn

  • Choose 1 card to play. Follow whatever it says on the card.
  • Possibly play more cards.
  • Draw cards to bring your hand back up to 5

Actions

  • Silhoutte = Place a minion
  • Building = Place a building
  • Skull & Crossbones = Assassination
  • Shield = Remove 1 trouble marker
  • Coin = Take money
  • Scroll = Scroll (action text on card)
  • Star = Random Event (not skippable)
  • Card Flip = Play another card
  • Hand = Interrupt

Goal

  • Every personality has a different victory condition
  • Commander Vimes wins if the draw pile is exhausted and no one else has won

Game End

  • When a personality victory condition is met
  • When the draw pile is exhausted. Command Vimes wins.
