Alien Frontiers
Setup
- Place Relic Ship (clear die) on Burroughs Desert
- Place territory cards face-up on their territories
- Shuffle alien tech cards and deal 3 face-up on table
- Each player chooses a color and:
- places a scoring rocket on the score board
- takes 1 alien tech card, face-up
- 3 ships (dice) and place on Maintenance Bay
- 6 colony tokens (for 4 players, see below for more)
- Roll for starting player
- Player 1 gets to go first
- Player 2 gets 1 fuel
- Player 3 gets 1 ore
- Player 4 gets 1 fuel & 1 ore
3 Player
- Each player gets 7 colonies
- Cover:
- 1 docking port at Solar Converter
- 1 docking port at Lunar Mine
- 2 docking ports at Orbital Market
- 2 docking ports at Shipyard
- Roll for starting player
- Player 1 gets to go first
- Player 2 gets 1 fuel
- Player 3 gets 1 ore
2 Player
- Each player gets 8 colonies
- Cover:
- 1 docking port at Solar Converter
- 2 docking ports at Lunar Mine
- 2 docking ports at Orbital Market
- 3 docking ports at Colony Constructor
- 4 docking ports at Shipyard
Game Turn
- Gather all your ships (dice) and roll them
- Use Alien Tech powers and/or Assign Ships in any order
#* You can only use 1 Alien Tech discard power per turn #* You must dock all of your ships, if possible #* Leftover ships dock at the Maintenance Bay #* When placing a colony: # Score a victory point for placing the colony # If you gain control (have more colonies than anyone else), score another point # A player that loses control loses a point # Having the same # of colonies, a tie, means no one has control
- Leave your ships docked until next turn
- Discard down to 8 resources
Goal
- Most # of victory points wins
- Victory points from:
- 1 per colony built
- 1 per controlled territory
- 1 for having Alien City card
- 1 for having Alien Monument card
- 1 for controlling territory with Positron Field
Game End
- Game ends as soon as a player places their last colony on a territory
