Ticket to Ride: Europe

  • 2-5 players

Setup

  • Shuffle train cards
  • Deal 4 cards to each player
  • Turn 5 top cards face up
  • Separate 6 long routes (blue) from short routes
  • Deal 1 long route to each player
  • Deal 3 short routes to each player

Game Turn

  • Only 1 of the 4 actions:
    • Draw 2 train car cards
      • If first card chosen is a face-up wild you can only draw the 1 card
      • You can draw the 2 cards from either the face-up cards or the draw pile
    • Claim a route
      • Spend the appropriate train cards
      • If attempting a tunnel, announce which tunnel and then flip the top 3 cards from the draw pile. If any of them match the color your are attempting (including wild) then pay that # extra train cards
    • Draw 3 destination tickets
      • You must keep 1
    • Build a train station

Goal

  • Highest score wins. Scoring from:
    • During game:
      • claiming routes
    • End of game:
      • completed destination tickets
      • minus for uncompleted destination tickets
      • unplayed stations (4 points each)
      • longest continuous path (10 points)

Game End

  • When any player has 2 or less trains everyone takes 1 more turn
